Cool. From the looks of that mounting plate, there shouldn't be any shortage of ways to attach it to the carrier.

Quick 'n dirty, depending on spacing of the stringers on the carrier, you might be able to line it up and clamp it in place - everything's hidden under the box anywho. And with the box off, that mounting plate looks like it'd be plenty sturdy enough to bungee whatever you can stack on it without issues.

Just for grins, whichever way you decide to nail it on, I'd recommend some form of rubber isolation - washers or strips of old inner tube in strategic spots. Never fails, if you don't, it'll have a built-in buzz right at your favorite cruising speed. ;)
