- 1980 KZ750 LTD-4
I am quite handy with tools and cars but I am making the transition to motorcycles. I've wanted to do this for awhile but I am kinda nervous as I am a small person. Last week I went to look at a 1980 KZ750 LTD-4 and fell in love with it. Took it home for $500. Needs some work and it has become my new time consuming project I am having lots of fun with. Needs some cosmetic work, but I am not worried about that until it is running the way I want it to. Carbs need to be clean or rebuild (see how it looks when I get in there. New front tire and general cleaning and tune up. I am currently in the process of taking the carbs off. Can't wait until I have it road ready. I will be taking the safety riders course next month to get my license. Until then I have plenty of time to get the bike up and running. See everyone around!

Looking at your avatar it seems you've got a good start.
The 750 LTDs have lots of parts in common with the 650s from the same years.
Best of luck with getting your license.

If UR lookin to add some chrome sparkle to her, let me know. Not sure though if 550 exhaust would fit on 750?
Anyone?

BTW, I have a SWEET OEM exhaust system for my LTD that I am trying to get rid of since I have decided to stick with my 4 into 1 system for now.

No...the 550's are unique. The early 650's and 750's interchange, though
