1993 KZ1000 Police Aftermarket Exhaust was created by markowitz.steve@me.com
Good day to all! I just joined the forum and this is my first post. I have a 1993 Kawasaki KZ 1000 police bike that I am customizing. I’m trying to find an aftermarket exhaust either a four and one or a four into two.

I reach out to Delkavic and Z1 and they say there’s only fit the earlier model.

Any guidance would be great and even better if anybody had anything for sale that would be great as well. Thank you in advance for any kind of guidance! Best and have a good day.

I saw on ebay there is a delkevic that says it fits up to 1996 police bike.  I think it’s just the header pipes and no muffler

I don’t think I have ever seen an off the shelf solution. The problem with the KZ1000P (1982-2005) is the floor board mounts. Any header for the KZ900, 1000, 1100 will fit the P bikes, except possibly the V&H and Star sidewinders. You will need a mid pipe that avoids the floor board and does not cause the muffler to interfere with it, either. You will also need to fabricate a muffler mount of some sort.
If the factory header pipes are ok, you can buy some aftermarket mufflers and have them welded on.

Thank you Arogone 79 and TexasKZ For your responses and the picture. I ordered the Delkevic system and it just arrived. The guy helping me with my bike is going to try to install it this week, but I’m not feeling super confident. Will circle back in with any results. Fingers crossed.
