Hello everyone. My name is Greg. I've been riding for a little over 50 years. Currently own 3 bikes Honda CTX1300, Honda NC700X and a new project KZ750E1. The Kawasaki is the 13th of my lifetime and hopefully not the last. Pretty mechanical but look forward to gaining some new knowledge. Thanks for having me.

Welcome Greg,  to the best place on on the web for old KZ info. There are even a few 750E1 owners here from time to time.  Hope you will post a photo of your "project".

Thank you everyone. I should have included this in my introduction. Current status is partially reassembled after complete disassembly. Frame, swing arm and center stand powder coated. Tank, side covers and tail section stripped and repainted. Disabled and rebuilt all calipers. Stripped and repainted all accessory mounting pieces. Replaced front tire. Currently cleaning up motor and carbs. Checked valve clearances and replaced several shims. Cleaned every individual bolt and nut. Unfortunately I know all of that was the easy part. Hope to reinstall the motor/ carbs soon and proceed with the hard part of getting it running again. Thanks in advance for your support. Finally, let me clarify. The KZ is my 13th bike but I've only had 1 other Kawasaki. A 92 ZRX1100. Loved it but only kept it for a couple years because I wanted something better suited to 2 up. I have a ZTR with a 19 HP KAI V-twin engine if that counts for anything.
Greg
