I got my rearsets today, yay! :cheer: :cheer: They are 03-05 R6 rearsets. The plus: I got a good deal, and they look brand new. The minus: The shifter pivot bolt and rearset mounting bolts were not included. I can understand the mounting bolts, but who takes out the shifter pivot bolt... If I can impart a word of wisdom to anyone contemplating a build like this- get as much of the hardware as you can! The hardware is usually specialized and dealers charge vast sums of money for a damn bolt. They bend you over dry every chance they get    and not even a kiss first  But here are my new foot rests

What's tied to the heelguard on the left one? I'll trade you for a set of GSXR 750 rearsets with all of the pivot bolts. JK. eBay or wrecking yard? Looks good.

Porche, i have those carbs. You will like them.B)

You know, I put these carbs on my grandads bike and it was a night and day difference. I just hope the consumable parts don't cost me an arm and a leg to go through them [/quote]
Just be careful removing the inner parts. Dont force them. my pal just went through that, he broke 1 of the jets of inside. Can remember which jet off hand.i think he broke all of the emulsion tubes off.

That is the brake light switch return spring. But no brake light switch? I can't get too angry since I can't use the stocker. Sooooo a trade eh? Throw in your 900 crank and we'll talk! The rearsets were $40 on ebay fyi

SWEET! :woohoo: I just scored a rear wheel and the rest of the shock linkage. I'll pick it up in a day or two :silly: now to find that rear shock.....at a realistic price :P

That is awesome. way to go. that will alow u to check out some more things at the rear.

just another heads up on the carbs bud. the float pins can get stuck. be VERRRRRRY careful .
i broke off 1 of the legs trying to tap it out with a punch.
be sure to support the bottom leg while driving the pin out from the top.

Oh, the return spring. I almost thought that you got some "contraband" along with your rearsets.

I'll go one better on your trade offer. I'll give you the 1000 crank. More is better. If you still want it to be a 900 you can just cut off the extra 100.;)
