I'm guessing it will feel like a rocket no matter what bars are on it.

Just before Christmas I finally got the tank, fender, tail and covers back from the paint shop. New solid black (Saab 170) with 6 layers of clear coat, 3 before decals then 3 after. I am very pleased by how it turned out:

Also got a new snorkel and some fasteners from CMSNL that I installed.

-20c now... wish it was spring already so I can take a long ride and just listen to the inline 4!

Now that’s a stunner. I’ll put it on my shortlist of the most beautiful KZ's I’ve ever seen.

Where did you source the decals?

Hi

I bought them on eBay from a UK company called classicmotorcycledecals2:
Edit: tried to post a link here but I can't get it to work, search: "KAWASAKI Z1000J Z1000J2 COMPLETE RESTORATION DECAL SET BLACK MODEL"
Edit2:  Z1000J decals on eBay
The paint shop commented that they were a bit difficult to apply. I don't know if it was just a way to bump the price tag...They came out nice at least!

The option format block at the top of the text window has a hyper link feature. It’s at the top right corner and looks like two chain links with a green plus mark. Copy the search bar address, open the hyper link box, make up a name for your link (display text), then paste the copied address bar into the url box. Hit ok.The hyper link with be placed into you post at the cursor place.
