On the left is the supplied rotor mount for the large taper non keyway MK2, J and GPZ cranks.
And on the right is my rotor adaptor for the earlier keyed crank which i made using a modified steel core with key slot from a spare z900 rotor i had.

I found these pages, which look to be the systems you mention:

www.electrexworld.co.uk/acatalog/Kawasak...-3110--RPK_3110.html
www.electrexworld.co.uk/acatalog/RPKS-31...ternator_System.html

The manufacturer only mentions compatibility with 1981 and later "J" model derived engines.

However, you also mention the "Mk2" crankshaft.  Can you confirm that this kit is compatible with the 79-80 KZ1000 Mk2 crankshaft and engine cases?

Yes! it fits the MK2 crank.
I'm going to use another on my turbo build below which i have a MK2 crank for and all the big aircooled fours use the same alternator case bolt pattern so the cover will physically fit all Z1 through to GPZ1100.
If you are considering buying the enclosed 3112 version there is a design fault and the outer cover doesn't block off the main oil gallery like original does so you will have to make a bung to stop the oil short circuiting back to the sump rather than feeding the head and it is also worth checking the rotor alignment to ensure the stator winding sits central in its magnetic field to ensure maximum output.

Here's a link to page 15 of my build thread over on the Z1 forum which shows the oil gallery bung etc .

The swingarm on the Racecrafters is a Yamaha XJR1300SP with 11mm machined off each end of the pivot and the rear wheel and tyre is 5.5 inch rim with 180 tyre which is the maximum you can run true central ( with 5/8ths offest front sprocket ) without having to scallop the frame for the chain run.

I love the look of the XJR1300 swingarm in this bikes, ever since I saw that Sanctuary used it on a Z2.
Now I'm convinced to get one for my bike, bad point is here in Mexico we didn't get the XJR models.

I guess I will buy it on Ebay from a UK supplier.

I hope you could post some pictures on how you adapt it to your frame, that would be very helpful.

Anyway your bike is awesome and I really hope you post the advance in the turbo bike.

Every one of these XJR arms i've fitted needs exactly 11mm taken from each side of the pivot and the same goes for bearing tube along with sinking in the needle roller bearings .
I also line bored the frames to take a 20mm spindles rather than sleeving the bearing tube.
I have build thread over on the UK Z1 site which you would be better off reading rather than me trying to paste all the relevent info here and then missing something out..
