Here is a pic of me warming up the back tire in my driveway. This is the second set of bodywork I have to swap when the feeling arises.

This bike's paint job might look familiar as it was on the 2006 Kzr calendar.

-1977 Kz650 Custom bought new by brother. Now with 810 kit, GPz750 cams, intake valves, Mikuni 29 smoothbores, velocity stacks, Dyna Igntion, MAC pipe and other goodies.
-1982 Ferrari 308 GTSi Red/Tan
-Toyota FJ Cruiser - 6 speed tank
-2010 Mazda CX-7 Turbo (my bride's)
-1998 Jeep TJ Wrangler 4.0...

Here is a close up of the Moon Dust Silver bodywork. I have since returned the brake calipers to the original semi-gloss black and it looks more stock. I wanted to build a real strong running sleeper that can surprise other bikes off the line.

If I had about 6000 sq ft for storage, and another 2000 sq ft for the shop, then my working area might have that much room :D

But I'd probably have it all filled in a week or two, some people are just born packrats :D

I helped a friend put up a 100'x 40' pole barn, it took him two weeks to fill it with all his projects, and his other two barns are still full
:woohoo:

What a great bunch of guys ! Being in town briefly I just could'nt pass up the opportunity to see this bike which we have all followed in it's evolution from a basic 650 to the awesome creature it currently is and I have to say that the Sudbury "chapter" of KZR really made me feel welcome.

For most of us KZR is a virtual world but last night it was reality.

Great to meet everybody !

Cheers

Cheers John - We enjoyed having you over.

As a side note, just after you left Bob Slade (the guy heading over to The Isle of Man bike race) implemented his 30 years of Kz650 ownership and bike mechanic experience and adjusted the air screws. The bike was running pretty rich and now it just purrs...or growls.

Hey Gang - Any Kzr members passing through Bedrock (Sudbury, the nickel mining capital of the world) is welcome to stop by for a cold one at my place.

Steve, I might just get the kawasaki_kid to set me up with a little video shot of the bike.
