Doubt I'll make it to Parry Sound. I doubt the bike would make it :woohoo: :woohoo: but if you guys are heading this way (Woodstock / London are)let me know.

Hey Guys - I am going to try to make it to the PS ride as it is about 90 miles south on Hwy 69.

I will try to lassoo some of the other guys in my city that ride old Kz's. At last count I figure there about 16 that I know of. The only problem might be timing as the Elliott Lake 1/8 drags are that weekend also I believe.

I don't have a street bike at the moment... trying to work on that. It would be kind of cool to trailer up my drag bike and do a blast down "Main Street", but the cops might have something to say about that kind of action!
Is there a lot of older stuff to look at up there? pre-1990 bikes? If so i could probably talk my buddy into a road trip to check it out... we are both into the old school equipment.

Thanks for the offer.

Cheers, Alex.

Sure Mark. You must have your location as Canada in your profile and not Ontario. You must really get around on your bike! B)

Little Darlin, I feel that ice is slowly melting.
Little Darlin, it feels like years since it's been clear.
Here comes the Sun, Here comes the Sun.

Yes, Spring is coming and I can feel it .....but it's just not quite here yet. I still have about 4 feet of compacted and slowly melting ice and snow on either side of the driveway.

I uusually think of pulling out the bike around about St Patricks day but not yet this year. Judging by the long range weather forecast I wont be pulling it out from under the cover next weekend either, Hoping for last weekend in March. Can hardly wait. I have a few things to do to get the beast back on the road but figure a good day should do it.

This year I dont think I'll make Parry Sound and also unlikely to make it to Dover on Friday June 13th but hoping for Paris and the vintage bike meet on Saturday June 14th.

The Paris swap meet could make a nice KZR meeting location.
I've never been, but have heard lots of good things about it.
B)

Lots of snow here still as well. And the roads have lots of sand on them. :(

I did start my bike on the weekend though. It was nice to hear her roar after 5 months of hibernation. :cheer:

The last couple of years I've been going for a few hours on the Saturday morning. Always interesting stuff to see. Last year the KZR patches were not yet ready but this year I got mine and will be keeping both eyes open for fellow KZR members :woohoo:
