Opinions wanted. Need to redo the turbo system on my turbo over the winter. My options are to paint all or parts of the pipes/turbo flat black...chrome ...or something like jet-hot. Not a big fan of the black idea and haven't got a chance to see a bike, in person, using a Jet-Hot coating to see what it would look like. What I've seen it looks more like silver paint and sorta takes away from the rest of the bike mixed in with paint and chrome/polished aluminum. Anyone seen, firsthand, that coating and how does it look? Chrome holds in the heat and then radiates it and the coating would or should keep things cooler but appearance is important too. Any ideas or opinions?

I am going to use the parts that are on the bike already. Whatcha mean it turns nasty? Does it change colors, starts flaking off, or what?

I wasn't quite sold on the Jet-Hot coating as it looked more like silver paint. I think they have a coating that looks almost chrome but you can still tell it's a coating. Only good thing about it would be it wouldn't color like chrome pipes do.
