You have a z1b, and built the engine with a z2 crank rods and block, and put bigger pistons in it. Or am I missing something? Cases trans and head are from a 900 then?

I'll take some pics in the morning of the blocks. The sleeves came out of a 750 and put in a 903 block then bored to 1015. I ruined the bores, then bought a 1015 block. I'll post them then.

You cut the block down? Shaved the block so the sleeves match the block hieght then?

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

No the sleeves dropped in. I didn't change anything. I had no idea the rods were shorter and I'm not sure they are that much shorter. Time will tell.
This IS a unusual build.

It appears you are saying that the Z2 crank makes the motor 750cc no matter what the bore. I'm sure you know that isn't the case, so what is it you are trying to communicate? The diameter of the cylinders = the bore, so why wouldn't a bike with large diameter cylinders (such as the block from an engine that started life with 1015cc) and a shorter stroke crank still be a big bore bike? I don't get it. Ed

Kawi810,
I'm publicly asking you to dial it back. If you disagree, with swest, you may do so civilly. If you can't manage that, I can help.
