Congratulations Ed!
Your bike always brings back fond memories of my youth every time I look at it. As if time has stood still at 17 years old (1977). It amazes me this bike has looked this good every single day of its existence without any restorations whatsoever.

The home page tribute is fantastic. The bike looks great in those pics.

This story is too cool. It should be in the pages of Motorcycle Classics.

Congratulations Ed. I've been inspired by that bike to dream of owning a 650 one day. And thanks for the sound advice you enthusiastically offer!

I will enthusiastically join in....Ed's bike is a constant source of amazement & inspiration, ....I have heard it described as "the day gets a little brighter when you are standing next to Ed's bike" And the man himself is one of the most helpful folks on here...(no mean feat, that!) I still hope to buy you a burger someday, Ed! Thanx SO much for taking the time to help us newbs & not- so newbs keep our babies on the road, and congratulations on making BOM, AND thanx for making the home page look SO nice, LOL!

Congratulations Ed!, well deserved, and thanks for the help and advice and inspiration you gave me over the years.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
