Yeah, the bus stop gas tank bike does deserve a nod. But technically that's a 750 zephyr, a 1990's model. Where's the kz line officially end?

my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

On a Mod bike I would think the rule of thumb should be KZ Powered and a free hand from their on.
That being said , from my never ending search to bring KZR the finest bikes I can find and get the owners to feed me the info needed to be able to present them to the membership I don't believe it will be hard to have solid BOTMs with KZ power for a long , long time.
Next year I am going to present some of our smaller cc models as we are a everything KZ site. Hope you all enjoy what Im doing.

Beautiful build....... but a little too much orange for me.
Looking at the before photo and the body parts I think of it as a Z1 instead of a KZ900.
Waiting for details on the motor!

BOTM doesn't need to be everyone's taste, and it is good when something a little controversial comes along!

Personally nothing more boring to me than lines of identical bolt standard bikes like seen at stafford bike show, I bet even their owner's get them mixed up..

I like this BOTM thread :)

1980 Gpz550 D1, 1981 GPz550 D1. 1982 GPz750R1. 1983 z1000R R2. all four aces
