I would have liked to see the boat anchor fuckwit try going up the side of that truck on your right Steve.
They are disrespectful shit.

I actually really enjoy riding pairs. I do it when I'm marshalling for the bicycle races usually next to a motor officer, sometimes next to another marshal, when we travel out the race start or back from the finish of a race. For some of the races that is 60 miles from town. Riding next to another rider at speed doesn't bother me but I have to work hard to ride pairs when there are six pairs in front of me and I'm supposed keep formation with only ten or twelve feet between me and the bike ahead.
My brother and I often ride pairs through town. It's a gas if you've got faith!
On the other hand, when I'm riding alone I own the whole lane and I expect any other rider to stay away unless I invite them to pair up. Passing in the same lane, even though it may be brief, is taking a huge risk.

Spot on Bill.
I have ridden a couple of Xmas toy runs in the distant past and you never know what abilities the riders around you have.
When someone in front of me changes their line several times in a corner or on a round about (not sure what you call them in other countries) i stay well away. Always prefer to ride solo unless i know the other riders can be trusted or just stay a good distance but that passing in the same lane is just a brain dead maneuver.

Went to the store and as always people try to keep me behind them. Later had a BMW pass me in another lane. I saw him and his lady coming, he gave me the two finger sign and went on their way. THAT'S the difference.

I NEVER pass a rider in the same lane they are in, even if there is room, unless they are friends of mine and or ridding buddies.... it's rude and besides you just never know what kind of an a**hole the rider could be.... and see you in his mirror and give you a little feint nudge as you go by,

They are. Out here I can "blow it out" almost every day. Still on the lean side though.

That's how I went down when my bike was 2 months old. Larry passed me on the outside of the turn with his wife on the back and crowded me right off the road. He was a lousy rider and I didn't ride with him much after that. If I did, I follow behind him. Wonder what ever happened to him?

Oh well - Lousy riders don't tend to last too long unless they have a lot of luck on their side.

When I watch and listen to your videos, it always sounds like you are driving around in third or fourth gear and then pass drivers in second gear, 8K rpm on to third, to fourth... and by this time, on a 55mph to 65mph two lane road, I'd be well over 110mph-115mph.

Second is my passing gear. I rarely take third to redline. One thing though, after I balanced the rear tire I'm finding myself at 90 or 95 and have to back off.
