KZQ wrote: Hi Folks,
It is that time of year again
Christmas has come and gone. Hopefully you all had a joyous time and were able to connect with your families wherever they may live.
Now, ready or not, here comes the New Year which means it's time to select, from 2018's Bikes of the Month, one bike to become KZ Rider's Bike of the Year for 2018.
Please excuse the ordering of the months. We know which order they come in but the software apparently does not.
I included only one picture of each candidate in this thread. If you'd like to review each bike more closely please check out the BOTM thread here:
www.kzrider.com/forum/13-bike-related/59...the-month?start=1040
The 2018 Bikes start on page 53, about 3/4 of the way down. Post # 776852.
We will leave the poll open until the end of February. Each of you may vote only once so make your choice carefully.
Thanks to all the members who stepped up this past year and sent me the needed pictures and information so I could keep Bike of the Month going
Dave and the rest of the Admin team.

ZED 1015's July Bike of the Month 2018 Blown KZ

July hands down. Everything else is little deviation from the original bike. July bike is true ingenuity and a demonstration of marvelous technical ability, forward thinking design and imagination..

No offense but everything else looks bland by comparison, pretty much like the bike did when it was brand new, or brand new with aftermarket seat and exhaust .

ZED is a truly outstanding bike builder.
Stock is a great thing and I do appreciate those who hold the line and preserve , or restore to original.
But I cant resist a Hot Rod.

ZED's bike is the best. It REALLY says something. The 900 to which you refer is like an already good looking woman putting on makeup and lipstick: she looks better, but she was good-looking to begin with. Zed really DID SOMETHING with his bike. Its amazing.

ZED's bike is sweet, no doubt, but before you declare all the rest of the entries just warmed over stock, you might want to read DoctoRot's build thread . There are a bunch of custom fabricated parts that are so well done that they don't stand out at first glance. I bet you could hold all the stock parts in one hand.

Zed Zed Zed. His bike is the best. Pure engineering genius. He thought outside of the box. The other bikes might be clever but they stayed IN the box. Zed obliterated the box. I may have him build a bike for me if hes keen.
