Kelly I just bought the cheap repop shocks from z1parts, I'm trying to keep it looking close to stock and keep the cost down I'm getting way too much money in this thing.

I wanna give z1parts a big thumbs up ! One of the best suppliers I've dealt with, I called to ask about eta on the body kit not to complain just curious and they issued me a $60 store credit for the delay that's after they knocked off $150 at the time I purchased the body kit. That's how you keep a customer coming back!! I don't expect it to arrive till the first or second week of April but I'm ok with that.

@Wheelhop thanks man the Turd is starting to gain some respect around here, still plenty of work to do as soon as the weather cooperates.

The Turd lives !!!! Six months after I bought this thing I fired it up for the first time. It seems to run really smooth, I'm a happy camper.

Nice start up and idle. All that work is really worth it.

You must have used up all your turd polish, cause it’s looking good. Sounds just as nice.

Yes I did thanks for recommending the turd polish, I bought a five gallon bucket and slathered it all over the bike then I pulled out my empty wallet and used it as a buffing pad, I'm still working on the body parts but they should turn out nice....

Good job Moose.
I get my turd polish in 1 quart cans, maybe the 5 gal buckets are more cost effective.

Jeez, I’m trying to picture it with the original flower power paintwork. You certainly did the right thing in letting that stuff go. Beautiful work.

I'm sure Brad would let you have it back for the right price  But in all seriousness the bike is a stunner moose

Got my air box connected to the carbs, what a pain in the butt ! If I was going to keep the bike I would have bought a Z1 air box.
