Could also size the existing cover holes for a freeze plug insert. This has worked fine on my ZRX so far.
On the ZR750 motor I have a Canadian valve cover and grub screws inserted.

KZ750R1 + 1991 ZR750 = KZR750R1
Better to be shot out of a cannon then squeezed through a tube. - HST

Our interest was piqued about this bike & we've caught up on every thread about it, except we only got through two lines of the wall o' text post on pg.3 re: stripped plug holes before we gave up..

One thing we've not seen mentioned is brakes.  First priority IOHO.  If brakes are in the same condition as the rest of the bike, it's a threat to your safety & others in the vicinity.  .

A crusty old bike mechanic said something to slmjim decades ago that stuck: "Before you make it go, make d@mned sure it'll stop."
