1981 CSR or LDT? was created by KZNewbie76
Hello everyone how are you? I am going to get a oil change kit for my 1981 KZ1000 I am not sure if I have a CSR or an LTD or something else here is the VIN number for the vehicle. Thank you in advance. I was going to turn the bike into a cafe racer but I'm just going to bring it back to all original

As I understand it since your vin number has an K1 in that makes it a Ltd, if on the other hand if it had a M1 in it it would be a CSR.

Partzilla has a handy cross-reference. Find your motorcycle, then click a part.
The 1000K Ltd is probably fairly similar to the 1000M CSR. Biggest difference is the wheels and meters.
Both models share some parts with the 1000P police models.

Edit: it seems that one of the mods fixed your photos while I was typing this...
