I'm desperate to get back on 2 wheels and for various reasons I have narrowed down my choices to: Suzuki GS450; Kawasaki KZ440; Suzuki GS500; Yamaha XS650
My first bike was a brand new 1980 KZ440. I have mostly owned Yamaha XS650s and I have never owned a Suzuki.
For parts availability, the Suzuki GS500 would most likely be my best bet. But ... the Yamaha XS650 was a best seller for over a decade and has such a strong following that it seems you can get any part you need today.
Does anyone here have an opinion on whether parts would be easier to come by for the Kawasaki KZ440 or the Suzuki GS450?

Try ebay to see how many parts are available for each model you are interested in.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
