My current helmet is a AGV K3, love it.

Here is the "retro" AGV of which you speak...

Look for a snell certified helmet  or any other independently tested  helmet that exceeds  DOT certs
Good helmet is a must  as what is you head worth. And a  perfect fit for your noggen  shape.

Hey Rolf -
The LS2 FF800 is called Assault here in the US.  I recently got one and I'm happy with the fit and features.  During my shopping I discovered there are helmets made for "round" heads, "intermediate oval" heads and "long oval" heads.  The assault is for "intermediate oval" and fits my noggin well. I found the sizing info on their website to run a little small: their guide said my head measured for a size L but L was too tight and the XL fit much better.

Thanks for the info sf4t7   i have no idea how my head shape is ,but i know it is not conehead =) i had several helmets over the years. the most vintagelook i had was a nolan with visoir that had  metal push buttons . The shop i going to buy the helmet is not far from me so i will go and try it on.

Over the years my head has been called many things: fathead, blockhead, sh*thead, etc.  Now I've found it is actually a "intermediate oval head"
