Sorry for your loss. Time heals but you never forget. From the moment we're born we start to die. We must all pass thru deaths doors.Try to remember all the good a bad times. He will always be in your heart. Just a thought away. I'm 51 and lost many along the way. But I can rejoice in knowing we will all be back togather in the end of lifes journey...

Man I am soo sorry. i can't imagine losing my father. I send you and your family my condolences. Dads are pretty awesome people and the world would have a lot less bikers without them.

I know that pain as well. :(

Knowing your dad loved you will carry you forward. Use that knowledge on your own behalf to go out and do good in the world. Do it in memory of the father that loved you for who you are.

thanks everybody for taking the time to read my post and share the pain. its been 6 months and im not sure it gets easier or not. i decided to get off my ass and start riding in june, i got one of his bikes out of the shed and rode 13,704 miles, partied hard and started prospecting for a club. bikers are the best family a guy can have. im accepting hes gone but its a very long rode ahead.

thanks again

your lucky you had a good relationship with your father the last time i talked to mine i told him to look up if he felt it getting wet it was because i'd be pissing on the bastards grave. value what you had and don't let it go and do the same for your kid's because if i ever see my father again i'll kill him with my bare hands.

we had those times to man and its not worth being pissed forever. we didnt talk for a couple years because of crazy shit. but the last year was great and wish there was more of them. im not telling you to forgive your dad, thats your decision. just dont piss away the years if the relationship can be patched.

Only time can heal your pains and trust me I do feel your pain. I lost my father about 3 years back. Lost my mother about 28 years back, and lost my best friend and brother about 22-23 years back. Looking forward to seeing them again one day, just not too soon(lol). Hang in there and remember him always. My sympathies to you.

Willie I am so sorry to hear what happened.
You can draw some comfort from the fact that you two were obviously very close, it is a sad fact of life that in these times that is a rarity rather than the norm.
I'm happy you were able to see him before he passed and I know it is of no real comfort to say, but time will heal the pain, and the good memories you have of you Dad will always remain.

Thinking of you.

Sorry about your loss. I haven't lost anyone that close to me yet. I can only imagine the hurt you are going through. Cherish the memories and the good things you learned from him, and live life like there is no tomorrow. Peace.
