Yep be careful. Last Tuesday a car turned left in front of me while riding my KH400. I hit the brakes and luckily was going slow by the time I hit his car. The guy was probably in his late 20's early 30's, no license, no registration, no insurance, no safety check. I'm pretty much okay except for "microfractures" in the bones of my left foot. Have to wear a "boot" for 2 weeks. KH400 got a few hundred in damages.
BTW I called the cops, I've been told he has close to $2 grand in fines coming his way when he goes to court.

Going to my own Doctor this afternoon to get checked out, Right side ribs are still a real problem . Cant get comfortable is the worse. Right arm still real tender with one point that if touched sends me thru the roof.
I see the girls truck right by where it happened and have thoughts of wrapping a chain around the axle and dragging it thru the woods and into the lake :)
May just go to where she works and show her what she did to me and recommend to her to leave my neighborhood for good as she is marked and not welcome. Our road speed limit is 10mph and half crazed people who go 30 mph around curves are not welcomed. It could have been a kid on a bike or mother with kid in a stroller .
I have decided to sick a lawyer on her and her boss and BP
Thanks for letting me blow off steam

Sorry to hear about the crash. That sucks!
Glad your not seriously injured.

If they don't charge her, how will the state revoke her license? She's clearly not fit to be on the road. What if she was recently blind? Would they use that as an excuse why they shouldn't ticket her?

As you said, what if she hit a kid? If her response is to just leave the scene instead of trying to help or call for help...

I'm glad to read that you are ok.

I would take this one to court and have the cops who were involved brought in to testify. If the cops say they didn't ticket her because she is too mentally deficient to be held accountable for causing accidents while driving I would argue that she is too mentally deficient to drive - period and should have her license revoked. The next time she runs over someone (biker, pedestrian, etc.) she may kill them. Ed

If you haven't lawyered up by now, forget it. I would have called a lawyer within hours at the most.

Driving is a privilege not a right. If this person shouldn't be driving, it will come out in court.

If your not feeling it or want to get that involved, that's ok. I'm Just glad your ok.

+1
I'm glad you were not seriously injured and hope you can heal up quickly.
Regardless of whether you want to do the whole court thing or not I would think it would be good to get advice from a reputable lawyer regarding your options.
