Bruce Brown, the creator of the movies "On Any Sunday" and " The Endless Summer", has passed away recently.

While I know that this is primarily a street bike focused site, I am sure many members will know of his work. A lot of us got interested in bikes in general after watching his films.

As he lived in Santa Barbara he was apparently better know there for the surfing movie and work, which is kind of reflected in this obituary. At least this one does mention his motorcycle work also.

And here is a nice article from Bike Bandit that showcases more of what we might know him for. Includes a link to a 6 minute long clip of the 1970 Spanish ISDT showing Malcolm Smith.

Think I'll dig out my copy and watch it soon as kind of my personal tribute.
