Heading South

I was going to go riding with a local rider here today but was held up with a flooded bathroom. I repaired the leaky faucer with a piece of a KZ base gasket. it fit right in the water line where it fastens to the faucet.

That should hold until i can get to town tomorrow. :laugh:

I then got on my bike and headed to a car wash and gassed up .
I rode South on hwy 121 from Murray,Ky. to hwy 79 West to Dover Tn.

I stopped to take a break at the Southern entrance to land between the Lakes.

There were a lot of bikes out. All the Harley riders checked my bike out and made several nice commets. We swapped travel routes and shot the bull.



I then headed North on the Trace that goes through land Between the Lakes.


Stopped a couple of times. There is a 2500 acres for off roading.



I then headed West on hwy. 68 East. As i was crossing the Tennessee river bridge i saw a harley rider broke down in the middle of the bridge. This is a narrow two lane bridge and he and his wife were in a dangerous spot.
I stopped and directed traffic until he go on the down hill slope.

This guy had one leg and he was having a hard time with this big Harley.

After he got rolling down hill his wife got on my bike and we followed the guy to a spot where he could get off the road.

We soon had his bike going as he had a wire to come off after hitting a big hole in the road.

Great story! Sounds like a good place for a ride on a warm fall day.

Hey Roy looks like the bald harley rider that broke down is flipping you the bird..lol

I thought he gave me the bird too but i looked closer and he didn't.

They were nice folks. He lost his leg on a loading dock. :S

I do hope there are some more nice days to ride. Roy
