Usually I get them in the neck and they fall down my shirt where they have loads of fun until I can get off the road and get them out. LOL

There was this older guy i met in central Ca Tom Boland (older in the 80's so maybe gone now)anyhow he chose to wear a beard to cover his busted up jaws and chin.......my Ma said it was because he had a bee go in his helmet and sting him in the neck vein... he tried to finish riding home a few miles in a hurry cause he was alergic really bad and needed a shot....riding a giant goldwing interstae type thingy
well he went into shock -passed out-and veered off the road while still moving along pretty good and went in a big cliff/ditch , hit so hard he crushed his helmet and chest cavity(gross)anyways he was a mess after that and talked slurry and all.......although when i asked him about bikes he smiled fondly and said he just decided when he woke up,that he was lucky to come out of the coma and surgeries and might need to take a break....
this was another reason my Ma was sure i was a dead man walking.......sorry Ma...look no hands....

i crashed with no gloves once.. :ohmy: ..it was the last time i rode a bike past the driveway without gloves. ..the last!!!!

My Warden got hit a few years ago,on the back of the bike...hit her on the neck,dropped down into her shirt and yup...stung her right between the buddies...talk about bike-wobble!:ohmy:

I hit a swarm of dragonflys one time. After getting hit by the first few on the outskirts of the swarm I ducked as low as I could go and Mama caught the whole swarm. It was like an M-16 pelting her. I was laughing so hard I almost lost control. I told her later I wanted her to expierence the bugs in the teeth thing us bikers have to put up with.

I know that was cold hearted but funny as hell at the same time

Three words....Ben-A-Dryl. I know its too late now but if you take one IMMEDIATELY after the sting you wont have any swelling. I once caught a wasp in the neck on the way to the bank. I pulled up to the drive-in window and looked in the rear view. The damned stinger was still in my neck and wiggling!!! My neck swelled up and it looked like I had been hit with a baseball.

glad your ok for the most part and you kept it upright.
so far (knock on wood) i have not been stung while riding.
i have been hit by a bird though. felt like a baseball bat @ 70mph. little bastard.

This makes me think about a chest protector...

I know, I know but I see what happens to my windshield due to sized rocks come off vehicles, especially 18 wheeler/delivery trucks.... Crack!

Get hit with one of those and that would just stun your world... All in all, not good... :pinch:
