Texas Country Road 42, Near Brazos Bend State Park

Thought you might enjoy a video that we did today - following MARTIN_CSR riding his 1981 KZ650 on Texas Country Road 42. It is about 8 miles and runs from FM 1462 to FM 521 at Sandy Point. His motorcycle is pristine and he really rides well.

Earlier, we went to Motorsports Ranch Houston - near Angleton, TX to watch all the sport bikes ride the track.



Sorry about the quality of the video. The windshield distorts the view, and filters out much of the color. I also have some annoying vibration in the camera that I cannot seem to fix so far. Also, should have followed closer to get a better view.

I wound up driving that road a while back when my son's Cub Scout Pack had a camp out in Brazos Bend. I thought that it would make a good riding destination. About the only good one I have seen on the South Side of Houston so far. Thanks for posting.

Yes, testarossa, CR42 is about the only good one south of Houston, that I know of anyway. County Rd 25 isn't too bad.

I don't know if anyone else has this rare and occasional ailment, whereby you twist the right wrist just a certain way, and the damn thing locks up on you and will not allow you to twist it back to a normal position. I have found that after a short while the adrenaline flow from the speed seems to finally free up the locked wrist and allow normal functioning again. Yesterday's attack was one of the worst I've had in a while. The speedometer was reading 135 mph before I got some relief.

I probably need to go to a doctor, but haven't so far. Probably just old age.

Has anyone else experienced this ailment?
