Funny to see guys talking about gas prices over a year ago!  Now in Illinois it's about $3.50 a gallon.  Was just in Arizona and prices were closer to $4.00 which surprised me.
A friend in Cali says it's about $5.10 in Bakersfield.

Here in the North East of England petrol is £1.48 per litre Shell (E10) and around £1.60 for super E5. lucky the Bandit and Z500 are tucked up for the winter and the little GS125 does around 110 miles per Imp Gallon.
The price usually goes up when the kids are off school but I think £1.50 per litre is a sort of trigger point for us now, used to be £1.00 per litre not so long ago for E5 (non Super)

Around 56% of the pump price is made up of various taxes.

Enclosed a report for fuel prices around Europe, odd that eastern Europe is a lot cheaper?

Pdf wont work but here is a screen grab. at least we aren't Holland.

Ireland is the only country in Europe that has no higher octane or LRP...Keeping the place green i guess.

Can still get E10 for $2.79 per U.S. gallon around here. That would be about $0.70 per quart, which is a tad less than a litre. Based on current exchange rates and my fuzzy math, that would be around 0.68 Euro per litre.

What "Brandon" didn't tell us was they were selling/releasing it to other countries.

Don't understand why you people use a codename for the guy.

Anyway I can get ethanol-free in town for ~$4 but it makes no difference to me and it's too low octane for the Ninja so I don't bother. KZ gets whatever is around when I need to fill it. I honestly don't really think about the cost of gas...like, I'm gonna fill my tank either way. No point in worrying.

Here in the South Island of New Zealand, we are paying $2.44 a liter for 91 Octane, which is about NZ$9.25 /US gallon or US$6.25/US gallon. Now thats something to bleat about. LOL.
US$2 of that is tax.

I didn't know that!  I must be awfully stupid in the ways of diplomacy, but why on earth would our Strategic Reserve be released to anyone else?  Do other countries sell their reserves to us when we need it?  I must answer my own question by saying I have never heard of another country doing so.
