Not quite safety wire, but if there is enough space use 2 nuts locked together.

Any group I raced with, we had to pass tech inspection on Saturday morning before they would even let us out on the track.
And the pit marshal checked for that little tech sticker every time you tried to enter pit lane to go out on to the track.
If something fell off your bike out on the track you got an ass chewing by the officials when you got back to your pit area!!!!!!

Even on my street bikes to this day I still safety wire the drain plugs, filter housing and/or oil filter and a whole herd of other bolts!!!

I don´t want to complain at a high level of your great bike build but this weld looks to me a little suspect.

Yea I know about it. I had the welder out here in AZ lay a bead over the previous weld my welder extraordinaire did back in 1979 because I found a tiny crack starting to form.
The very first time I tighten the bolt down I heard a "pop" his weld pulled away from the rest of the bracket!!! My welder back then put a bead all around that piece of bracket.
So it ain't going anywhere.
Plus I don't race it anymore. I just ride it for a few miles couple times a year. So I decided to just leave it!!!! You got good eyes to catch that!!!!!
