I finally got to work on my bike this morning and in 2 1/2 hours I've got it down to Forks, Frame and motor.

I have been trying to get to this for a month so I'm a little excited.

Next I have to remove the carbs and start to disassemble the top end. I hope to get that done Wednesday. If I don't have to take the motor out of the frame. That may add a level of complexity.

The aim of the exercise is a top end rebuild (and paint job while I'm at it)BTW.

Wish me luck...

It may be too late, but a photo-essay of your project always entertains the masses.
