Ok so we all take all that tubing off and just connect the 2 valve cover ASS caps with a piece of hose or block them off with a rubber cap.  Has anyone ever capped off the passageway in the head or upper valve cover with either an actual plug or something?  Im asking cause after 20000 miles of having that hose sealed, the carbon build up was huge. I'd like to block off the passageway in the head  so the exhaust gas goes out and not fill up the upper valve cover area. Thank you.

Yes! I tap the holes in the head M10 and plug them with a threaded bung.
No drilling needed as the hole is already the correct size for the tap.
I've also plugged the holes in the cover with a pressed in alloy bung.

So that's pretty much what i did. My one mistake was to tap the hole before i had what was going to go in there to plug the hole. I ended up using a 10x1.25 50mm long bolt that i cut and ground to fit. I used my angle grinder and belt sander to get the nearest fit then did a little hand file work to smooth it over so the valve cover didn't get hung up. I hand cut a groove in them to use a screwdriver to get it in tight and some red hi temp rtv to seal the threads. Pics 3 &4 show what i made. I hope this works.

This.

You can also make or purchase flat aluminum covers to replace the top of the reed cage.

Yeah so like i said.... I hadda make up something to go into the hole i tapped out cause i didn't think to get the plug first...That was to go in the hole first... First wrong move on my part. ... But yeah... It took me 4 hours to get this done and i don't have a machine shop. I did this all kinda caveman style.... But i think it should work out.  We will see i guess.......

A short 50 cents M10 grub screw did the same job.
