I'm running the GPZ swing arm like pictured. It' a bit longer too which helps keep the front wheel down. With the stock arm I'd do wheelies all the time and now it's real hard to do wheelies and when I do lift the front wheel it comes down quickly. It's funny years ago when I said my hot 650 went low 12's almost every one told me I was full of s#!t. I never tried a wheelie bar.

Its been a while since Ive been to our local 1/8 mile since I sold my 1327,but from what i remember strapped down busas were running 6.70-6.90 range with a little motor tweaking and a pipe around here in the 1/8 around here anyway with decent riders. B)
best I ever got out of the 1327 was a string of 6.15-6.18s /115 and change with no bar and lots of traction issues B)

Mark thank's for that info.
I was going to ream the frame hole
to fit the 750 bolt.

My sleave's are already trimed
to fit the frame but a 550 sleave
would be a better way to go.

You can get hurt just as bad at any speed going down the track.
Ive got a 20 year old daughter who could ride my 1327 just as hard as me on the street, ive ridden on the back of that bike with her piloting it on more than 1 occassion before I sold it.
Only thing Ive got to say is if she ever road that thing with a really sticky tire and a bar I wouldnt want to be in the other lane against my little version of vickie farr! :woohoo:
I really need to get my head out of my ass and build an old gasser out of one of my old 55 chevys or an old 50s chevy truck and stick her behind the wheel and me and the boys can turn the wrenches! B)

I wonder how cost affective it would be to set up some sort of progressive nitrous system on a smaller motor like that?
I bet you could use some of those individual nitrous plates/manifolds between head and boots like a 900/1000 since youre already using bigger boots for those 29s.
Then you could adjust it to come on as you get it rolling so it doesnt shock the suspension/chassis so hard B)

Been along time but we would have 2 and 3 stage systems on our dragsters. One set came on in first gear activated by throttle position. and a second stage in a higher gear set off with a manual button. Its great till you exceed the motors ability to contain the power , then we would have a spectacular blast of fire shoot out the sides of the cylinder head
