Went for a little ride around the hood this morning didn't like the
clutch at the lever wanted to start pulling right off the grip.
Pulled the cover while changing the oil and reset the clutch arm one tooth
and now the clutch works in the first 1/2" as you pull the lever the way I like.

Round two test ride I did few 1/2 to 3/4 throttle run's through the gear's
this thing pull's hard wanting to lift the front tire on the 1-2 shift on the street.

Went last night ran 1/8 mile. went 7.40@92.63 that works out to about 11.60 1/4 mile.
Made a few head's up pass racing a 2013 ZX6R and beat him 2 out of three runs.

Motor ran great was getting faster every pass then in elim,s I made it to the second
round had to run that ZX6R and bogged the motor off the line and couldn't quite run him down
he got me by about 1 1/2 bike's.

Have only been to quarter mile tracks so gad you gave us an idea what the 1/8th mile time worked out to. Your defently gonna get quicker over the summer when you get used to all that extra power.

Your running a street tire too vs a slick so maybe a few tenths off for that?? Thinking the Bonnevelle bike is geared a little more too I think a 15 tooth front would be about what they were running. 16/48 vs 16/45 for yours. Don't have a clue on what that would do though.

A little jetting, timing, practice etc etc and your gonna get there. Did you degree the cams? I didn't on mine and know there would be a little more power there. Will be following you on this ......... Always planned on this but got way too old way too fast.... not to mention poorer. :P

KZB4 you can't get to old to drag race. Last Sat was my B-day I turned 54 y/o..

Racer I used this calc. to come up with the 11.63 number but I'll take that 11.56.
www.hotrodpitstop.com/tool.php

Right now the rev. limiter in the GPz ign. is stopping it from going quicker
it shut's it down at about 9800 rpm's and the motor should be able to turn 11,000.
Was going 1.70 60 ft and the limiter was making me shift at about 45 ft out.
Friday's my bonus check payday so a Dyna2000 ign. WILL be ordered.
to fix that issue.

I'm runnig a GPz petcock that's almost twice the flow of the 650 petcock
with 3/8's fuel line.the only flow restriction would be the tee at the carb's.

This ain't my first rodeo I've been doing this drag race shit with car's and bike's
for about 40 year's so I got a clue about what I'm doing.

Everyone has their own opinion. It's when one's attacked for having one the problems start. If I make a mistake, I'll correct it if I can.
