KZ400 Position Lights

Finally and after many unsuccessful searches I found the solution:

- Original rim-lamp for European KZ400, part number 23006-048
- Original optics for European KZ400, part number 23007-064
The really hard part was finding these serial numbers as they don't appear in either Partzilla or any of the diagram pages I found. I had to get an european KZ400 owner to disassembly his headlight.

It remains for me to check if halogen bulbs can be attached to that optic, I still don't know the type of socket it comes with.

So many people don't do that, and we don't know if the suggestions we make are any good.

Not so simple. I found out that to ensure future spare parts it is necessary to upgrade to H4. For this I got a complete EMGO headlight for classic Honda's that matches in measures with the KZ400 (6 1/4") but not quite on the bolt mounts

The headlight I got is 100% metal and while I still have my doubts if I'll be able to fit it into the original bowl, I'm more preocupated about the new H4 halogen bulb will melt the original plastic bowl...

Does anyone know if these old plastic bowls resist the higher heat generated by an H4 halogen bulb?

To the best of my knowledge the heat (along with the light) is reflected outwards through the lens by the reflector so I can't imagine you will have a problem
