Hello!
So I have '82 Kawasaki kz1100 with Dynatek ignition installed before I got it and recently one sensor in it started randomly shutting down and in result no spark in 2 cylinders. But after some time everything starts working again. Already happened twice. Tested the coils so I'm sure it's not them.
Considering buying new ignition set which is impossible to find here in Europe so I have to order it from States. Original Dynatek costs $170 and noname copy just $55. Have anyone experienced any difference between them or can it be at all?

I decided to try one and so far so good. I will be installing a 2nd one at some point. I assume the pattent hasn't expired. They really look identical. I had been buying the Dyna s for just over $100 not so long ago so they really increased the prices. Considering then Dyna S in made in China also I decided to just go with the knock off.

Wheelhop sent in two Dyna S to DynaTek and the sent him two new ones for $120.00 each. Don’t toss out bad Dyna S

Yes,
call Dynatek (in Las Vegas) and speak to a customer service rep.  
I told them I had two systems fail and didn't have receipts for either.  I had to send them back the units and they sent me two new ones for $120 each.
It was not a warranty replacement but at least they gave me a deal (forgot the term they used).

General concensus on Z1oc is that Dyna moved production a few years back and the factory in China that manufactures for them also makes the no name version.
There are no differences between the two except the name and price tags. Exactly the same design and components. 
You can always trust a Chinese manufacturer to steal your designs and ignore copyright.

I have Dyna on two of my bikes.  Was thinking of doing a third, but if they're made in China then I'll be looking for alternatives.  I avoid Chinese stuff at all costs.  

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I have a low mile points setup on hand just in case. When my last Dyna S failed I bought the one I have. Installed the new Dyna S in 2014. So far so good.

Not sure where the older ones were built be they are far superior to the newer. The older pickups are taller, chunkier, the newer are shorter and have a square raised block on the top. From experience, while at the Zukey Lake get together Wheelhop had bought two used DynaS and both had one bad pickup. I brought along a unit I know must be over 30 years old. We mounted it and the bike ran great. The bike left for points west with my 30+ year old part running great. Recently Wheelhop told me about he experiences with getting two new replacements and offered me a new one to replace what I installed on his bike. I said thats a great offer but if possible I’d like mine back. He agreed.

Thanks for the answers!
Decided to try and ordered Chinese copy that looks identical to new Dynatek.
Meanwhile made 200km ride on the old one

I'm also curious.  I bought a no name chinese copy a few months ago as I was stockpiling some parts for my Z1's "revival". Haven't installed it yet as I want to get the bike started and running before replacing the whole ignition system.  Over the years while building some hot rods I learned (the hard way) what happens when too many changes are made at the same time,
