Which black 2k urethane paint?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI am trying to find paint for frame and all the bits on my kz650. I think it should be semi-gloss. I am going to use epoxy primer, it is compatible with urethane top coats.
But which one? I searched online, I just need a quart. Closest I found is this, but not sure what do they mean by "semi gloss SHEEN"



Basically, looking for good stuff recommendation..

Simonez tough paint is the way to go. Either satin or gloss. No need to reinvent the wheel. 
No priming, heat resistant, fuel resistant, touch dry in 10 minutes, chip resistant. Available in rattle cans. 
Long lasting and as close to khi original as you can get. 

 

Well, this paint is $60 shipped from UK to US, so not something I want. I prefer to go "traditional" way with 2k primer and paint..

You may be able to use SprayMax's 2K satin clear coat to go over one of their basecoats......

But frame is not satin, it's semi-gloss from what I understand?

Seems Simonez is called sperex in the US.
Satin and semi gloss is the same thing depends which side of the pond you live. 

You will have to test on spray out cards or a test panel and see if the finish matches.
There is no standard for gloss level terminology.
One companies' semi-gloss finish maybe another companies' matte finish.

I used VHT Roll bar and Chassis paint in satin black to touch up spots on my 1978 1000 LTD matched perfect. I’d buy you a week of dinners if you can tell me where I touched up the frame. Not Urethane but claims to be Epoxy.

How it can be epoxy? Or it's got this punch thing to mix inside can?

Problem is - frame is in very poor shape, definitely "flat" or "rust" so can't tell how to match.

You could buy this piece and match the gloss level to it.

There aren't many 2K rattle cans out there. Eastwood has their own line as well.




 
 

I used Nason Black Ful-Thane urethane on my frame and it looks fantastic.  I'm not a professional painter but I've painted enough to know that the Nason sprays better than any other paint I've ever used.  

Kawasaki used really crappy paint on their frames, so it's hard to know for sure what gloss level is original.  I do know that Kawasaki used a primer layer on the lower part of the frame.  Higher up, I didn't find any primer.
