There is a perfect fuel tan for a Z1000ST selling, it looks like the GPZ1100B1 tank I have but if possible I'd like to get this verified, thanks in advance

UPDATE: I just took my tank off for comparison, it appears this has a different tap and the fuel guage is in a different spot.

Was going to say that it looks nothing like the B1 tank I have. How's the Z1-R running?

I know the reply is very late but I just noticed this post. My Z1r off the road at present, I have 2 x FJ1200 and a hybrid GPZ1100B1 with an 83 motor - I do think of the Z1r ride, maybe 2025. How is your Z1r?

You need to measure between the rubber standoffs, up front and then back to the peg that holds everything. I can tell you that I suspect it may be different. But, get measurements from the seller and compare. The petcock and gauge locations should not cause an issue.

If you can get it to work, you'll luv the 5gal it can hold! I did on my 80' ST... ~250 miles on a tank!

The KZ1000ST tank will only fit the KZ1000ST which was only made in 1979 and 80. They worked long hours and planned extensively to made the ST an entirely different motorcycle. Everything was extra heavy duty, and not interchangeable with any other model. In 1981 when the KZ1100 shaft came out they went back to light duty on everything.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
