I am/was big time into bicycling, mostly off road mountain bike stuff, got into 24 hour racing (on trails) and some long one day events (me on the back of the tandem) I worked full time as a bicycle mechanic when I got downsized in 2008, I only did it for one year as the store went bankrupt. Too bad as I loved working there, ended up working out of my house doing CAD design for prototypes and small assembly lines.I also scratch built a recumbent but quickly found out I could not ride it as my thighs pumped too much air into my gut :)
I am also into beer brewing from grain and float fishing for steel head if I get the time.

Closer shot of of GS motor on bench.
Don't know what the motor with the head off is.
Love the Haynes manual and the factory Honda shop manuals below the bench!!!!

Yes, amazing detail, the packet of Drum rolling tobacco, the mig welder, oxy bottle and drill press, brilliant, could be a photo of an early, probably 1980's , well used workshop....!

We, Mrs. slayer & I, have determined that fire arms can be as addicting as motorcycles! At one time we had a dozen motorcycles in the garage. Most of them were registered, insured and running...

After determining that it was a lot of work & money, we thinned the herd & put some of the capital into firearms. Hand guns for the most part

A small sample is below

And now we have added a dune buggy to the list of projects

Thanks for getting rid of my extra picture Matt.  I tried to edit when my picture showed up as a thumbnail,  and then I had two full size and couldn't figure out how to fix it. Old guys, at least this old guy are sooo dumb on computers! The rifle is an Italian replica of an 1866 "Yellowboy" carbine. They were originally chambered in .44 Rimfire or .44 Henry,  same as the 1860 Henry which preceded it. My replica is a .44-40, also referred to as .44 WCF, or .44 Winchester Center Fire.

Slayer, You can't go wrong with Sig Sauers and Dan Wessons!

Totally agree about the "addiction" aspect!

I too enjoy punching holes in paper from a distance.

And about 30 years ago I had a Super Beetle that would chirp third gear. All of the engine specs are locked away in my head (carved in stone, so to speak ) so I can build another one someday. I've considered doing a dune buggy for the light weight, but also like the idea of a Type 1 powered kit car of some kind.

Or another MGB.
