Here's one of me an my CL70 Honda around 1973.  I took off all the lights, turn signals, and changed front fender to make it into a dirt bike of sorts.

Wheelhop us gingers need to stick together, we're a persecuted minority

Ginger is mostly gray now but I agree with you on the persecution part.

Brings back memories of those all-nighters putting a bike together so I could go racing that coming weekend. Those 6 to 12 hour drives in the early morning hours to make it to the track for Saturday. Or those 6 to 12 hour drives home and trying not to fall asleep and crash to make it to work on Monday morning.

First two photos are from back in 1976 and 1977.

Believe this is 1980 or 1981.

Admittedly, the following pictures aren't mine, but from a friend & avid collector of vintage motorcycles. Presently standing at "about" 85 complete motorcycles...

And just to add to the weirdness...

In 1985 while I was starving my way through college, I managed to finally qualify for a student loan (long story which involved my Dad cheating on his taxes, etc.) which I promptly spent on getting some transportation. I lived in a 6 bedroom house across the street from San Diego State with 10 other people but only two parking passes. A motorcycle was easy to park so...
Now, My job at the time was a limousine driver so I rode my GPz in a full tuxedo and an overcoat. My drunken friends thought it was hilarious but then they didn't have to work.

This is the only one I could dig up easily.  From 1984.  I'm on the Kawasaki in the middle.  The guy on the left, is my cousin, and the other guy is a good friend.  In fact, I have that 900F now.  He has a ZRX.  I'm wanting him to join this group.  My cousin isn't riding like he used to and only has a Honda 300 now.
