I had mine ceramic coated. I think it was right at 200 dollars.definitely keeps the heat down. after a short ride I am able to grab the pipe with my hand just past the collector.thought that was pretty impressive.ive heard ceramic reduses heat but now I believe it.

I searched all three of your suggestions Jack, and I came up with goose eggs. I can only imagine it wasn't a popular, well known, long lived brand. I hope it performs ok!
As far as the coating, I'll put some flat black on it for the time being, and for start up. Once I decide to keep it, I'll get it ceramic coated. $150-175 is worth it for the durability and asthetics of ceramic coating.

Adam, look closely at the bottom of the pipe where the header and tailpipe come together. (When you get the exhaust.) See if it has any numbers stamped in either piece. Mine had a three digit alphanumeric stamped in each piece. It's the only identifying markings, and I still havn't found any info. My header looks a lot like that one, as does the tailpipe hanger. However the tailpipe it's self is slightly different. I'm thinking maybe different models from the same company or something. Did you ever sell the Yosh?

Yeah Josh, I still have the Yosh, and I patched up the pinholes in the collector. If I can get a hold of a stud gun, I'd pull out the little dent in the primary tube too. Clean it up with some semi-gloss black paint and sell it for more than I bought it for  Who am I kidding? I'd be lucky to break even  As far as the new exhaust, I have only seen that primary tube configuration in Marks Header thread, where each side splits around the oil filter. It looks like the #1 and #2 primaries are a little longer than #3 and #4, which goes against the common school of though that all primary tubes need to be equal length. The biggie (for me) is that the collector exits on the right, and should clear my shock linkage. Shipping KILLED me though from B.C. to Cali. I just wasn't ready to ante up $350 for a V&H, or $550 for a Kerker. Now, if I could just come accross a back cut tranny for cheap....

Just out of curiosity, what did you pay for shipping? It seems to have jumped up recently. I had a "buyer" for one of my gimme parts who had to back out due to shipping charges to Canada. The shipping on my pipe was $60 a year ago from Canada to Texas.

Shipping for me was nearly DOUBLE what you paid. $115.....Still cheaper than my Yosh, and hopefully in better shape.

I think that the printer cartridge bomb is costing us a lot of money in shipping. I didn't pay that much to have that crankshaft shipped last year. That sucks. I checked three different shippers for that centerstand, and all were within $3 of $40 shipping. For a centerstand

There isn't much we can do about it, but pay the piper. I will be more than a little upset if that exhaust gets here and is trashed.
