That paint job must have been done around 1991 or so. Pretty dated and pretty bad. I think he will have a hard time getting $2000 for something that will need a total restoration just to get rid of all that paint.

Yep, that's a really "interesting" paint job there. :sick:

Maybe I'm seeing things, but why would someone in VT need what looks like the MOT tag that they use in the UK?
I'm smelling a possible scam here, regardless of the fact that there's a phone number listed in the ad.

I could be wrong but what you say is an MOT tag looks to me to be the horn mounted in a different spot. It is a little hard to see from the pics but there looks to be 2 bolts holding on whatever that is.

yeah i thought it was a horn also.maybe its just me but id like to see a closer shot of motor,something just dont look right about that points cover and clutch cover:whistle:
