NCIC check on VIN #

Is there a LEO or civil servant out there that would be able to help poor Mario check a motorcyle VIN # to make sure the bike has a clean title.

In GA we have an inspection form. The police will come and inspect the bike and sign the form. If seller objects to this, it's better to let the deal pass.

Have the State Patrol check the number for stolen. They will not tell you who the registered owner is but will tell you if it is on the "wanted list".
