Another steal on a KZ650 with pictures

Wednesday afternoon I am picking up another steal on a KZ. It's a '78 650 with oversize cams, race clutch, Z1 carbs and some other goodies...comes with a title. It's been sitting for a few years and I don't know what kind of shape it's in. I am only paying $100.00 so I guess we'll see what I get...I promise to post pics as soon as I get it home...WooooooooHooooooo:woohoo:

Here is a pic after a quick wash. It has oversized cams, Heavy Duty clutch, Z1 carbs, Kerker Header, and an oil cooler. Came with a title and a key. $100.00 and it was local.:evil:

I don't know why but I have been having trouble resizing on photobucket lately so I can post...here goes...

My eyes might be lying to me as I get older, but it looks like the generator cover has the 3 external allen bolts near the center of it, which would make it a '77 not a '78.

What plans do you have for it?

Man that's a great deal. I think R4's right, the mads look like 77 mags with no lip on the edge. Great score, good luck getting it going.

You guys are correct...he originally told me it was a 78 but didn't find out till later it was a 77. As for plans...I may just work it over this winter...I'm not sure yet:cheer:
