Thanks !
She does look pretty good compared to my old 750 I had last spring. I got tired of looking at bikes on and off all summer only to find people had butchered them up, left them outside during hte winter, bikes that wouldnt run for nothing, and parts missing on bikes. For the $1400 here in the Chicago area, Im glad I didnt pass it up. All the lights and everything works as it should on this bike. Im pretty impressed at night cause all the bulbs and gauges are really bright just like they were when new. Im so glad I didnt go back to the dealer and sign for a new Vulcan 1500 in July. I know V-Twins arent meant to be fast, but the 15.8 seconds in the quarter mile for a 1500 cc bike had me worried. I like to get out of trouble quick with a "sporty bike" when I have to. I been getting quite a few looks on the bike riding it around since I got it. People still do like the way the KZ's look. I know I always did.....

You got THAT with 14K original miles on it for $1300 ???
Ride it like you stole it.....cuz you DID !!!
I'm not a big fan of the LTD "Custom" look....but for that condition and price, I COULD live with it.
Re motors: It's easy to tell the "J" motor because it's got a "J" in the motor serial number in the 7th or 8th
digit position, IIRC. The capacity pad molded into the block also says "998" instead of "1015" that the early-style 1000's had.

Damn! That's what they are supposed to look like! That sure is purdy. Yours is the twin of the one I picked up with the exception yours doesn't have and dirt, cobwebs, grass clippings, grease, oil, dead insects, dead rodents, rodent droppings, faded paint, corrosion, rust, etc., etc., etc.,
No, no, I'm sorry. I don't wish to trade even.....:woohoo:
