It's been feeling a lot like Spring here lately.
I've seen a lot of bikes out.

Got C2 out of her 4+ months of Winter hibernation.
Just put in new gas and oil today, then tried firing her up.
She came to life on the first press of the electric start.
A little sluggish at first, but soon needed some choke adjustment, then idling on her own in no time.
If the mornings not too cool, I might venture out to Gormly, Famous Sam's restaurant for the Sunday morning meet.

And riding I did today!
:woohoo:
It was a colder day today, but I've ridden worse.
Manged 100 kms/62 miles round trip.
The kz felt great, and she liked the cooler temps.
Not many bikes out, but still worth the ride.

For us members who live and ride in Ontario, as you all know this is the time where the most motorcycle accidents happen, winter is not over and spring is not here, and we all have the itch to ride, just be super careful out there as the cars on the road are not yet accustomed to seeing bikes on the road, I hate when I watch the late news and see motorcycles involved in an accident. Happy riding and stay safe.
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Well said mopguy.
Bike looks good Rob. Thx for the pics
I took the cover off the bike last Tuesday, changed the gas, put the battery back in and hit the start button and it fired right up. Every year I find it amazing that this old thing keeps on going and then think I sould get yet another year out of it.
Putting air in the tires I noticed side wall cracking in the front one and so it was Friday night before I had a replacement on. Just rode a few km around town on Saturday and the speedo cable broke. Flushed the brake fluid today. I'll get in a few country km later in the week when the rain stops. And I sure hope it's only rain as being an optimist I put the snow shovel away

I took the sand bags out of the back of my pickup.
If it snows it's my fault:)

And snow it did again, a week back.
Temps finally getting up to normal for this time of year.
Roads still bad in places, so ride accordingly.
The past few days have been quite warm, and I managed a ride to the Sunday CVMG Meet in Gormley.
Lots of bikes there, and great weather.
After breakfast it was off to Bellfountain with a bunch of the others:

Re: KZR Ontario Chapter

Up here in Thunder Bay we've been back and forth with the weather. 4 weeks ago, we had +20, the snow was gone, the roads were decent. So out came the 650 and I got a ride in. 3 days later, we got hit with a foot and a half of snow. Bike goes away, sled comes back out. Now we're finally back into the clear, the roads have been power broomed clean so the sand is gone, and we're hitting daytime highs steadily of 10-15 celsius. So the pilots got a tune up again, and my mini windshield is on. The bike is tuned up and ready to roll
I got a decent (80km) ride in on Saturday. It felt really good to be back in the saddle.

Friday the 13th has come and gone.
Too bad we didn't organize a meet.
I did see a few KZs at Port Dover for PD13.
The weather was not the best.
Rain all night Thursday, and into early Friday.
I waited until the rain stopped, and the roads were mostly dry.
It was a windy day, and there were patches of rain throughout the day, but overall it turned out well.
