Yeah, you guys are right. I should have known that. I'm too young for a senior moment. That's a crutch I don't care to rely on.

Got the rotor on. It was pulsing but after some hard braking, it seems to be going away.

Using my old early 70's Snap-0n light gun, mine does the jiggle a lot more then when I use my other much newer strobe, the Craftsman light. No idea why.
However, I've noticed that I can jiggle the weights a little now where the springs don't seem to hold them as steady any more.
Could be the weights are moving around the pins or the springs are loose... ??
Only about 42,000-45,000 miles on my advance mechanism but I bet I'll be doing the same thing this spring.

The spring ends get loose. Made a big difference and the knock has all but gone away. It was making the engine stumble at idle. Also the bolt was slightly bent. Going to try and time it again.

Bent bolt.
I noticed that in your previous video but I thought it was an illusion from just the cam lobe itself oscillating.

It's the second rotor. Should have replaced it long ago.

I changed to title to move on. This will be where I post maintenance and engine upgrades.
