I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I spy a blue smurf! Yes, that was a blast. I think we rode so many miles and me with three cracked ribs. My sit bones STILL feel the pain. Good memories and we need to have many more, hint hint.bluej58 wrote: Well deserved, great bike, I have had the pleasure of chasing Paul and his bike around the New Mexico desert last year.
It was a blast.

Yeah Baldy!Street Fighter LTD wrote: Good morning and please join me in welcoming our BOTM for October
Baldy 110s 82 GPZ 750 / 1100 ELR Clone   :woohoo: :woohoo: :side: :side: :side: :silly: :silly:
This bike is the result of Paul Baldwins ( Baldy110 ) dream to create a ELR for himself .It all goes back to when he was 19 years old and in 1982 and sat on a real ELR. It was game on from then on.
Baldy 110 has created quite a unique motorcycle for himself.
Taking a 750 frame and reworking it to fit the GPZ1100 motor is no small task. Cutting and reworking the frame, fabricating
new motor mounts.
Adding ZRX rear suspension and Yamaha FZR 1000 rear set controls
Mikuni RS 36 Carbs, WEB Cams, 1175 Wiseco pistons, and a reworked Kerker pipe
Paul used a Koso RX1 Gage pack and a Ballistic battery and saved 6 pounds
Bike was built on a diet and weighs 420 pounds fueled up and ready to scream
Paul used a GPZ 550 fairing as he felt it gave his creation the proper look
NICE JOB PAUL !!!!!!!!
Baldy has had his 650 featured in the past and he and I decided it was time to show off the ELR Clone
So Please join me in welcoming Paul and his beautiful ELR to Octobers BOTM :woohoo:

I'm so glad this was revived. My pissing and morning for years and I blink my eyes and here it is. I can finally die and go to heaven knowing Kzr is getting it back together and stirring things up with such nice bikes. Pete, your bike looks nicer in person! So much nicer. Be nice if we could get a yearly meet going west/Midwest/east/ north and south. I sincerely hope to see you guys and your bikes!!!!
