Why do we call bikes "She"

I don't see the need to name mine but I have a project bike that I am working on so we'll see.
I have a few guitars that have names like " surf guitar and the Tele " a friend named one Librace and it stuck.

2 fender strats
a fender bass
a gibson
2 fender telecasters

That was funny. What Ive been trying to tell her is, we have been programmed with values that are quickly, and righteously so, becoming obsolete. That the world is changing and women have a new, better place in it. Not just objects....

I don't believe anything is strange in this world of existence. Is it out of the mainstream or norm? Sure, but what does that imply? It's not natural?

Yeah same thing. I find it weird. I have six guitars and NONE of them have a name.

Oh I make TONS of music. I have a studio in my home.

Never named an inanimate object, and neither do any of my friends. I don't get it.

Yeah its bizarre.

I usually refer to my machines by what they are, sometimes by who owned them, like dicks old bike, Your old bike, Sandcast, diecast, Missouri bike, my 78 Goldwing did become old blue to distinguish it from the other one I had then that was just the 79. After a trip to Sturgis going 80-85 all day long I did say she's a good old horse.

I don't usually name any of my bikes. But I have been thinking about christening the LTD in the shop "LOLA".

Because as we all know........................................

whatever LOLA wants,...........................LOLA gets!!
