on my 77 650 I dont have to remember to turn the petcock off. It operates by vacuum.

Does anyone know off hand if the 77 750B TWIN is vacuum also? Im out of town and left it in the "on" position....

If your needle valves are leaking fuel you need an oil change when you are back in town.

So I assume the answer to whether it is vacuum operated is "no?"

The 650 manual reads just like the excerpt you posted, but it IS vacuum operated though the manual doesnt make that clear.

Your Petcock is not vacuum operated, he has NO diaphragm.
