should I buy this KZ900 was created by yorkiboy
Hi Folks, I owned a 76 Z900 back n the day and loved it. I am now looking at a 1976 KZ900 for sale here in the UK but obviously there are traps, downfalls and lots of dodgy "originals" out there.................Any advice on this............. steelcityclassics.co.uk/classic-motorcycle-for-sale-52

Looks pretty good to me, maybe a grand or two higher than I would be willing to pay for it. If you want to know which parts other than zorst and rear shocks are repop head over here z1ownersclub.co.uk/ these guys can spot a rat with their eyes closed and facing the wrong way. well genned up on current values also.
Just checked and I see you signed up yesterday unless theres another Yorkiboy, but haven't posted yet.

Z1000J2 somewhat modified!

Nice looking bike. Would have a mechanic go over it before purchasing it. For that price, it should be as near perfect as possible. Aside from the rear shocks having the reflectors (U.S. models did not have reflectors, don't know about the U.K.) the front fender seems to be a LTD fender
