I rebuilt my front caliper and put it back on, there seems to be a great amount of contact between the pads and the rotor. Do these images look like they are too tight? I read somewhere that is there is too much pressure on the rotor they can overheat and warp.

With the wheel suspended in the air can you spin it with your hand? There will be some caliper drag so don't be alarmed but the wheel should spin reasonably easily.

The wheel spins, but i have to put a good amount of effort into it to get it to turn. Definitely doesnt spin freely...

The front caliper piston is stuck or not moving back freely by rust and debris in the piston bore. I speak from my own experience, rebuild min. 2 sets of caliper a month for my friends and colleagues.

The last set i do (750 Kawasaki Zephyr) with the same symptoms like yours.

I have already rebuilt the caliper. The piston was very clean along with the inside of the caliper.

There are two orifices in the master cylinder. One is really tiny and easily clogged. If you did not insure that it is clean and open, the master cylinder will not fully release pressure when you let go of the lever.
Also, if your brake line is old, it may be blocked with crud or collapsed internally, and not allowing all the pressure to be relieved.
